If you think that you know everything about marijuana, you might be mistaken. People who continue to use marijuana have stated that they do so because of the benefits they get from it. They think that it completes something that they lack and some even believe that using it gives them a clear idea of who they are and what they want to become in real life.

But why do we need to know about marijuana facts? Why do we need to learn some basic knowledge about the plant that other people go crazy about?

Learning about the beginning can give you a head’s up in understanding better why marijuana has become an all-time trend, making its way from the ancient times to the modern society that we know now.

Marijuana and Its Other Names

Marijuana or also known as cannabis, its legal term, can be referred to by a lot of other names that is mostly used colloquially or in the streets. It can be called pot, weed, Mary Jane, grass and a lot of others terms.

The reason for this is because marijuana is illegal in some countries and they need to fashion a new name for it every time authorities grew suspicious of what they have or trade in.

Things you should know about Marijuana

Some vitamins in China are laced with the leaves of cannabis. Parents use this to make their kids gain weight. Marijuana components include stuff can get you feel famished and sleepy right after eating. This can cause you to gain weight immediately.

Bob Marley revolutionized the usage of marijuana. He became the live symbol of the plant by promoting it for the relaxation of the mind and meditation. Marijuana has become part of Bob Marley’s legacy, and he was able to incorporate it to his followers and fans.

He also mentioned that marijuana has helped him discover what is lacking in this world and tried to use the effect of marijuana to compose songs about peace and love.

Bob Marley is just one of the greatest artists who proudly admitted that they are using marijuana to improve their art. Among others was John Lennon, who was a proud cannabis user during the 60’s. He was a prolific marijuana user and used it to promote world peace during the hippie era.

Marijuana leaves can also be used to make a rope or turn it into fabric to be used for clothing and other materials. Marijuana’s fibers are harvested to turn into a great line that can hoist up heavy objects.

Smoking marijuana has different effects on gender. Women are found to have the tendency to be more reliant on it than men. Research was conducted on male and female rats, and the female is more highly susceptible to the adverse effects of the plants due to the high level of estrogen present in women that can cause harmful side effects.

Marijuana medical benefits extends even for your pets. According to study, dogs or cats who suffered unexplainable illness can be given a minuscule amount of the plant as it promotes soothing and healing. The dosage of the marijuana plant given to pets should be well-regulated and under a healthy precaution since too much can be fatal.

The air in some cities in Italy is found to have been laced with marijuana. In a 2012 study conducted in Italy and to its cities, the air was found to have a little substance of marijuana. The reason for this is still unknown, but a theory suggests that this is due to the bulk load of people using marijuana in the same area.

Planting and harvesting the marijuana plant can be proven fatal. There has been a reported marijuana-related health problem in Albania. The affected people are found out to be living near an illegally planted marijuana area.

Most of the common symptoms are vomiting and stomachache. This is also due to constant contact with the station. This only proves that too much marijuana is fatal.

Not all marijuana plant is green in color. Some cannabis, especially those grown indoor is brown in color.

Just like any other plant, marijuana has proven to not only be just a plant that has addicting properties; it is also a plant with multiple uses and purposes. So, the next time you see a marijuana plant, you’ll know that it is more than just a plant.

The move to legalize cannabis for medical purposes in America has sparked the discussion about the effects of the drug on the brain, and whether it is ideal to use it to treat psychiatric disorders.

Sadly, however, much of the studies have to be carried out on those who have smoked the drug for recreational reasons and not medical purposes. There are very few people who use weed for medical purposes.

A review carried out by the American Medical Association also found out that the research still remains sparse. This was one of the factors that made the association urge the federal government to make reconsideration in classifying medical0 schedule 1 controlled substance. This prevent it to be used as both creational and medical drug.

However, consensus have proven that medical marijuana could help treat several medical conditions in 1999, the Institute of Medicine found that marijuana is the best to treat pain, especially nerve pain, it increases appetite for those who have HIV AIDS as well as controlling chemotherapy related vomiting and nausea.

On the other hand, the Institute of Medicine said that marijuana should only be used as a form of treatment if other pain relief drugs don’t work on patients. Research that were done later on found out the core findings by IOM and recommendations were actually true. There are also other studies that have supported the use of marijuana in treating various psychiatric conditions. However, there still need to be physical evidence and benefits than documented risks, especially for youths who use cannabis.

Important points to note:

Medical marijuana is ideal for treating various medical conditions such as nausea and nerve pain. However, there isn’t sufficient evidence to recommend cannabis as the ideal treatment for psychiatric disorder. In fact the risks are documented quite well, and include psychosis, addiction as well as anxiety.

Challenges with medical marijuana delivery

Cannabis is extracted from the hemp plant. The plant features over 400 chemicals. However, researchers have found out that there are two main chemical that have adverse effects on the mind: cannabidiol and Delta 9- Tetrahydrocannabinol also referred to as THC.

THC is the one responsible for many effects of the drug, particularly on the central nervous system. The chemical prompts the cannabinoid receptors causing various chemical reactions that lead to cannabis’ physical and psychological effects, both the positive and negative effects. There isn’t much known about the cannabidiol, but it is believed to produce sedation. But it also may contain antipsychotic, neuro-protective and anti-inflammatory effect. But the research is very unreliable at the moment.

Therefore the delivery of this drug still remains a major challenge. However, the FDA has recently approved the use of two important pills that have THC. The marinol is mixed with synthetic THC with sesame oil. Most of the ingredients in the drug are normally metabolized when the body is digesting, therefore, less than 20 percent of the dose gets to the bloodstream

With Chicago’s cannabis culture celebrating the passing of Chicago’s Senate Bill 10 extending the Medical Marijuana program along with SB 2228 That immediately decriminalized possession of 10 grams or less of marijuana, many veterans of the national political cannabis landscape once again found themselves worrying whether Illinois would be yet another state to find itself without the necessary framework and infrastructure to effectively grant its citizenry the full benefit of this legislation.

This is a conundrum that has been faced time and time again by states in the past who have enacted progressive marijuana legislation , and will continue to be a fundamental issue for states following the national trend of legalization and de-criminalization of cannabis within the political and legal sphere.

The challenge in the status quo now has gone from getting these laws passed, to being able to have the infrastructure, tools, and framework planned out and available to properly execute when new legislation is passed. One has to look no further than the first year of legalization in Colorado, where Governor Hickenlooper readily admitted the state simply did not have the tools in place to efficiently handle the ramifications of their legalization legislation, to the constantly changing landscape of rules and regulations (even worse so it’s being done at a county by county level) governing medical marijuana in California decades after the original medical marijuana laws were passed , and finally to the desperation of the cannabis community within Washington DC which was forced to rely on Craigslist after legalization in the absence of being given any kind of method or tool so that they could exercise even the most minimal rights granted to them with their new laws.

In comes a popular and well respected technology startup in the marijuana field that has proven to be the answer to this issue of framework and execution. Leafedin.org, a free anonymous cannabis networking weed app that is unrivaled in its effectiveness, technology, and the trust it has built within the core and activist marijuana communities and cannabis industries. It’s focus is on allowing every participant, every type of individual, business, and entity, to meet its marijuana product and employment needs, in the most effective manner possible , by providing a free weed app that integrates an anonymous map based real-time cannabis networking solution that works on any device by simply navigating your desktop or mobile browser on your device to https://leafedout.com (whether it be chrome, safari, etc.), in addition to an iOS app that is available on the app store but currently has limited functionality until a new version release October 15th. One can preview the users around them in real-time just by visiting the site, then when they are ready to connect the free anonymous sign up process takes on average less than a minute.

The majority of the thousands of active daily users have been able to connect and meet their cannabis needs, and the users in Illinois and Chicago are no different, whether it be using it find the best medical marijuana strains like the candyland strain or gorilla glue weed from a closer vendor that charges less, to locating marijuana employees as a marijuana employer whether they can dispensary bud tenders, trimmers, extractors, to finding new business as a marijuana vendor in your local area in just minutes, and the list goes on! Finding those vape pens that are impossible to locate that assist PTSD as a veteran

Dedicated to user privacy and focusing on individuals rather than just businesses participating in the marijuana industry, LeafedInTM has proven it will revolutionize how the marijuana community connects and communicates with the successful launch of its Marijuana Networking App, Leafedin.Org. The app works on all desktop and mobile devices, simply visit https://leafedout.com. By focusing on the significant part of the marijuana industry that has been ignored by other mainstream marijuana tech apps, this service is a huge potential catalyst for the major shift towards a more efficient business model for the marijuana industry as it assimilates into the mainstream.

From San Francisco to Sydney, consumers as well as vendors of marijuana of any size, type, and degree are finding a direct way to instantly find local marijuana that is direct to the source of the best quality, while vendors are able to instantly connect with buyers locally over an anonymous free networking tool that allows them to maximize their return , find new clients, and even find better hook ups for whole sale!

LeafedIn.org is centered around the use of a map-based app (accessible on any device at https://leafedout.com) to anonymously connect individual members of the cannabis community in real-time through a messaging service. Users are segmented into four major MJ groups: Vendors, Buyers, Employers, and Skilled Labor.

The service requires no personal data and signups can be finished in mere seconds, with the details provided being based on the group you belong to. If you are a consumer/buyer in Washington D.C. looking for a new vendor/distributor to get your preferred marijuana products from, you can find one within walking distance in your area in real-time, with reviews and at no cost to you, within a minute of going to www.leafedout.com. The same logic applies to any variety of marijuana vendors or distributors, who can connect with new customers instantly and gain new business. Many vendors have been reporting huge returns within just days of joining. Any size growers can quickly filter through local trimmers, extractors, etc., allowing them to effectively meet their marijuana labor needs. You can open the app on any of your devices and see who is currently around you right now; the connections to be made are endless.

To be clear, no transactions are ever handled by this site; it is an application made to facilitate and encourage the coming-together of different subsets of the marijuana community. Currently the IOS app is only available by invite for a small group of select users, stay tuned for updates about this in the very near future!
