Purpose of Your Job Position:
Duties may include using TraumaSoft dispatching software or other software, or telephone to transmit assignments and communicate with driver operations personnel. Supervise the productivity, training, and efficiency of other dispatchers.
**Please note, because of the safety sensitive nature of this position, applicants/employees in Arizona and Massachusetts who are also Medicinal Marijuana cardholders can not be employed in this position.
Plan, organize, or manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
Prepare employee work schedules.
Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules.
Route Transport Technicians to various destinations throughout the day.
Oversee all communications within specifically assigned territories.
Relay work orders, messages, or information to or from drivers, supervisors, or clients, using telephones or dispatch software.
Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service.
Tutor and mentor new dispatchers and call takers.
Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, environmental policies, or government regulations.
Serve as contact persons for all workers within assigned territories.
Implement schedule or policy changes for transportation services.
Liaise between departments or other groups to improve function or communication.
Monitor activities of individuals to ensure safety or compliance with rules.
Implement organizational process or policy changes.
Maintain professional appearance among office staff and Transport Techs.
Assist in the operational training of other dispatchers.
Take out trash or other light office duties.
Maintain office supplies.

3+ years Dispatch Exp preferred
Physical and Sensory Requirements (With or Without the Aid of Mechanical Devices)
Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
Must be able to see and hear or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
Standard office duties such as; filing, typing, sitting, reading/writing, organizing, coordinating, etc…
